The highlight of this stay for us (4 adults, 2 kids) was the location. It is a short walk down a path to Brennecke’s beach and Poipu beach. This is a really nice area to stay in. The unit itself is spacious and includes all the necessary amenities but could probably use some updating. Overall, we would recommend staying here.

We we're pleasantly surprised to see the condo was so much nicer in reality than the pictures presented. The condo was very clean the furniture. The furniture was so much nicer then the pictures indicated. The walk to the beach was as easy as it could be. The Landscaping in the complex was almost surreal feeling. So much Greenery! The only noise in the complex was the beautiful birds outside our windows. I would definitely stay there again. could be being less than 10 minutes

This was a great spot to stay. It felt a little farther from Poipu Beach but only because we have stayed at spots closer. Quiet and well appointed, it was perfect for my family and I (husband, two college boys)

The property is in a great location. Unfortunately, we arrived during a period of next to no wind so it did get pretty hit in the condo during the day. The fans definitely helped and it always cooled down at night!

Enjoyed our week long stay here! A couple issues were handled very promptly & it was easy to communicate with management. Do not forget to put your parking pass on your dash or you will get a warning ticket from the association as we found out, lol, our welcome, haha I saved it for scrapbook. Property was great, close to pool, people were quiet after 10pm. Even without AC, it was bearable with the fans supplied. Very roomy condo!! Had everything we needed. My family missed having AC but we tolerated it and it didn’t ruin our trip. Nice touches with the toiletries supplied as well as the beach towels/equipment. I guess it can be seen by some as dated or worn out but it didn’t bother me at all. My husband was able to lock the sliding door that had difficulty locking, he just played with it a bit but it did lock. It was very convenient to have a washer/dryer inside the unit also! What a great place to stay! Thanks for the opportunity!

The location and amenities are ideal, lots of room for a family or multiple couples. Condo was well equipped however many items clearly well-used and in need of replacement/repair. Multiple lightbulbs burned out. Lanai sliding door does not lock. The blinds in secondary bedroom were completely broken which we called on the first day. Lots of disrepair such as broken tiles and multiple shades of paint where some older repairs had been made. Well equipped with equipment for your beach days. The washer and dryer are another issue. Washer smells like a "port-a-potty". The dryer left the linens smelling like they were burned by the dryer and the smell was unpleasant enough to the point where the towels were unusable. Property management was not that great at communicating. Responses were late and then they never followed through. Overall it was a good unit but needs some MAJOR love and attention. Time for the owners to bite the bullet and do some updating. Looking at reviews from January and some issues have still not been fixed in April.

This was perfect for our family with a teenager and little kids. I loved that a beach was within walking distance.

We enjoyed our stay, finding all as described within the condo unit. Dedicated parking spot was a plus. The location is convenient to beaches, restaurants, shopping and attractions of the south end of Kauai. Mahalo Anne and Ben for your excellent customer service!

The location and amenities are ideal, lots of room for a family or multiple couples. Condo was well equipped however many items clearly well used and in need of replacement/repair (dull knives, broken blender etc.), lanai light did not work, lanai sliding door required lots of fiddling to lock every time as well the blinds in "children's" bedroom were completely broken as well as the screens so we got quiet a few visiting bugs and creatures (geckos) and subsequent bug bites. Lots of disrepair such as broken tiles, mold on shower doors (note: sliding bath doors very challenging to bath/shower kids), and build up on sinks/tubs/facets. Pool side only plastic dishes allowed however only plastic glasses provided, no plates etc. Well equipped for kiddos (pack and play, booster seat., umbrella stroller etc.). Property management was great at communicating with issues (chirping fire alarm). Overall it was a good unit but needs some love and attention.

No problem with entering the unit.It would be handy to have more then one pool key.The pool requires a key to enter and leave the pool area.

Centrally located to everything in the east and south side of town. Made many wonderful memories together

Property and Condo were great. The only thing is it really does need A/C for those particularly hot days, they have many fans which did make it bearable but A/C would have made it over the top

This condo is stocked with everything you might need! They made it so easy to check in and it is in the perfect location to walk to Poipu Beach where there are turtles coming in every night to rest. Loved Loved our visit to Kauai.

We had a great time in Kauai. The Poipu location is truly convenient. It was just a few minutes from shopping and the beach, but you never felt like you were in a high traffic area. The condo complex is nice and this spot is right by the pool and hot tub. The condo had all the amenities: washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave etc that make travel easy. The condo did get warm while we were out and about, but opening up the windows and using the ceiling fans helped air it out quickly and it was very comfortable. I would stay here again in a heaetbeat.

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay! It was a great location for beach access, close to pool, and beautiful grounds. The condo was a great setup for our family of four (2 boys, 9 & 6) and provided everything we needed- cooler bag, boogie boards, beach towels- great stay!

Great condo, very spacious for a family of 5 It was very practical to have washer & dryer in the unit We were worried about not having AC, but with the windows open there’s a beautiful breeze at night Bathrooms & kitchen are a little older but are very well equipped and spacious We really enjoyed our stay !Thank you!

Short (less than 10 minute) walk to multiple beaches. The property has pool, hot tub, grills, outdoor covered tables. Can walk to restaurants.

The condo was clean, spacious and quiet. It over looks the pool, perfect location. Close to shopping, food and the beaches. I would absolutely stay there again.

We have been traveling to Kauai for the past 10 years and this property is one of our favorites. It’s a short distance to the beaches. Amazing walks along the coast. And just a short drive or a leisure walk to amazing restaurants, shops and adventures. Besides the Picturesque views and lovely beaches we enjoyed going to Koloa and dining at all their amazing food trucks. The condo had all the amenities we were expecting and more. The management company was very gracious when we asked for a second parking pass and delivered it to our door. We would definitely stay at this condo again.

This was a great condo to stay at. It was lots of room, relaxing, comfortable. Close to the pool, comfy beds, short easy walk down to Poipu Beach. Great communication with Anne and team - friendly, responsive. Just took a little hunting when we arrived to find our parking spot and unit 🙂 Thanks!

This condo is well equipped and tastefully decorated. It had all the things you need for the beach from beach towels to snorkel equipment. The kitchen was also well stocked. If you have kids, it’s conveniently located next to the pool and just a short walk to the beach.

Beautiful walking path to beaches. Lots of room in the condo. Needs updating and new carpeting.

We loved this property for our family. Four adults and one five year old. The proximity to the beaches and pool was perfect for the five year old. I loved the plants around the unit as they helped screen us from the neighbors. Although the units are quite close together so it wasn’t as private as some people might like. The fans helped keep the condo cool and the many windows allowed the breezes to come through. A well stocked and large kitchen made family meals easy. The condo was roomy and the wifi was fast and reliable. My daughter had some work online conferences and had no problems. It was nice to have the washer and dryer for that bit of laundry before packing up. We had a glorious two weeks here and hated to leave. Mahalo for a wonderful stay.

This place was great. We had to spend more time indoors than we cared for due to weather and we found this condo to be more than comfortable.

Such a nice place to stay, close to the beach and other activities. It was so homey…haven’t slept that good in a long time. Had everything there that we would need. Would love to go back!!!

Kauai is absolutely incredible! We had the best trip and the location of this VRBO allowed us to go north and west with ease. I almost hesitate to say this in the review in fear of too many people fighting over too few of spots...Literally the ONLY complaint I have is no A/C, but dollar for dollar I truly don't think we could have ended up in a more perfect location. Also if you enjoy a firmer mattress, you will love the master bedroom. The kids slept well in the 2nd bedroom and my parents did well in the upper room. Finally it was well equipped with cups, plates, silverware, some seasonings, pots, pans, a few Tupperware containers and some very fun beach gear. I can't wait to book my next trip here. Mahalo!

We had a terrific 1 week stay in Poipu Kai. Absolutely loved our rental property. The pool is right outside the room, and it\'s only 5 min to the BEST snorkeling on the island (we tried a few), and with the layout and location of the building it is in the condo gets amazing cross winds throughout the day regardless of wind direction (just have to leave the master bed door propped open). Would 100% stay here without hesitation if we ever decide to visit the beautiful island of Kauai again. Thank you/Mahalo!!!

Pros • WiFi was fast - Usually in the 50-70 Mbps range in the main living/dining room • Close to the nearby conference facilities (It was only a 12-minute walk to the east to attend some conference meetings). • The washer and dryer worked well • Being on the 2nd floor was nice - one could feel safe leaving the windows open • The general condo area was quiet and peaceful • The furniture was nice • The dishwasher was quiet • The unit was well equipped with cooler, beach stuff, etc. • Kitchen was well equipped • Spacious condo, with a nice master bedroom, another bedroom with two single beds, and a loft with another double bed and half bath. • The reserved parking spot was nice to have and fairly close to the condo Cons • No AC (but they had several portable fans that helped) • Some dishes in the cabinet were dirty. When we grabbed a glass, we noticed it had some lipstick marks on it. One of the plates also had some dried food on it. Thus, we immediately put all the dishes and utensils through the dishwasher. Given that they charge $300 for cleaning the unit (plus $262 for something called a “service fee”), finding dirty dishes was unfortunate... • Nobody had cleaned the coffee maker. Coffee grounds were still in the maker, and there was a coffee residue in the glass coffee pot. • The lock on the sliding glass door in the main room was broken and did not work. • The fan above the dining room table did not work • The occupants in the nearby unit (Regency 424) smoked a lot of cigarettes in their unit and kept their front door open. (Their front door and our front door faced each other). As for customer response, when we asked about the broken lock, they promptly brought over a wooden stick that we could place in the door track to keep it effectively locked. When we told them about the dirty dishes, they simply said the word "sorry" and did not say (or do) anything else.

We had such a lovely time staying here. It was clean and spacious and within easy distance to everything we needed. It was also very family friendly. Thank you so much! We really hope to come back!!!!

We enjoyed staying at this spacious apartment. The location was perfect to explore the island and to relax after an active day. Only opportunity for improvement would be the installation of an AC for the summer months. Besides that, a perfect place to stay at Kauaui.

Stayed here 7/20/19 - 7/27/19 and really enjoyed the property. Well situated in a nice quite location. Being an 2nd story unit made it easy to leave the place opened up to keep the breeze blowing through day or night. Everything we needed (utensils, pots, pans, etc..) for our stay was in the unit and all appliances worked flawlessly. Loved our stay and would stay again! Thanks!

We loved our stay here while we were in Kauai in July. We all had more than enough room, never felt like we were tripping over each other, and it was a huge bonus to have 2 1/2 bathrooms. Having 2 lanai's (off the living room and master bedroom) was also very nice. We all had lots of room to sit back and relax. The kids loved having their own space in their room, and were really excited to have a tv in their room, so they could watch cartoons during the little bit of downtime that we had, while Nan was watching her show in the living room. We loved the courtyards and landscaping, the gorgeous plumeria trees were all in full bloom while we were there. They are my favorite!! The condo complex itself, was pretty quiet. There were a couple nights that we could hear people out in the pool, but otherwise, quite peaceful. Even the roosters could only be heard from a distance. The Myna birds were a little more vocal right outside our windows, but definitely bearable, and we got used to them quickly. The other neighbours were all very friendly and pleasant, and we really didn't hear much from any of them. We made great use of the pool area. It was nice to be so close to it, and to be able to see it right down below our lanai. The kids and I were in it every day that we weren't out and about for the day, and we used the barbecues to cook dinner every night but 2, during our stay. We didn't usually have to wait for one, but if we did, the wait wasn't long. It was nice to be able to eat right there, or take our food back up to the dining room table, if we chose. The location gave us great access to Poipu Beack Park, as well as many others, just a close drive away. The condo was well equipped with lawn chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, boogie boards, and a little cooler, all greatly appreciated for our beach visits. This Condo is great for a Family with lots of space for everyone. It was very well kept, and clean. It was so nice to have beach toys and chairs and towels provided so that we did not have to rent them. I will recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great Family Vacation

This rental was super! It was roomy, clean, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. Also, just a short 5 minute walk to lovely Poipu State Park Beach. We wanted for nothing. It was quiet, the pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ were lovely and never crowded. (No running down at 630am to claim your poolside loungers like at the big resorts) A seamless check-in and very well-maintained. Would highly recommend!

This is a great condo. I loved the amenities and the location. Just a quick walk to the beach on the path. Or jump in the car and you have many restaurants and shops just a minute away. You are also close enough to get to other places on the island. There’s plenty of beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc., for your beach time. Lots of space with all the convenience of home. We would stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at this condo. Very clean and had everything that we needed. Quick little walk to the beach and restaurants. The owner Anne, was very accommodating when we needed an extra vehicle parking pass brought to us. Would definitely recommend staying here!
