Beyond amazing

I rented this house with the intentions of a bucket list trip for my husband with our boys and my sister and her family. Unfortunately, my husband passed away 5 days before we were to leave. They were so incredibly understanding and accommodating to move dates. The house was over the top gorgeous and tranquil. It really was just what we needed. The backyard was so beautiful and private, the bed swing was really the best! Everyone we talked with Parrish was so kind and any issue we had (we couldn’t find a cooler), they brought one to the house immediately. The location was great, we could walk to the beaches and shops and restaurants. I just wish we could have stayed forever. It was a healing space for all of us.

The house and location were amazing. It accommodated a family of 7 adults and 1 infant beautifully. The home was pristine with plenty of outdoor sitting areas to retreat in and enjoy the gorgeous Hawaiian landscape and pool. We loved everything about this home, its cleanliness, air conditioning, decor, etc. It took our breath away! We had the added bonus of being within walking distance to Kukuiula Shopping and Dining! Plus plenty of walking trails throughout Kukuiula Development. The beach is a bit of a walk however the drive is no more than 5 minutes. I would love to bring my family here again and would absolutely stay in Kukuiula Cottage #29 again. Many beautiful memories were made on this trip! Thank you Parrish Kauai for outstanding responsiveness and immaculate preparation for our stay.

The house was perfect for our family of nine, 6 adults and 3 kids. Beautifully decorated and spacious! It was peaceful and serene. We ate outdoors every night on the huge and beautiful table. We were also so very happy to see all the beach gear! Chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and sand toys were a must for the beach! We hated to leave and hope to come back.

Our family really enjoyed our time in Kauai at our Parrish booked homes. We booked one in the south and then one in north of the island. The Parrish staff was awesome in helping us work it all out. Our stay could not have gone better!

Lovely home with almost every creature comfort you might want. spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Ample kitchen utensils, cookware, dishes ,etc. Plenty of spaces to relax. Wifi was great for those that still had to work. we had some friends over for dinner and between all the dinning options we had more than enough places to eat. there was a new house construction going on next door but inside this house you almost didn't hear them. location is a nice quiet neighborhood just a short drive away from the town or beach.

Wow! This home is beautiful and so spacious! The amenities were spectacular and the management company was super responsive. We loved the pool, hot tub, all the various porches to sit on, loved the view of the ocean and walking down to the beach. We will be back for sure!

A perfect home for a wonderful getaway. This is an eye popping home. Floor plan is perfect. Interior decorating is dazzling. The 180 degree view from the back of home amazing. The doors slide completely open so you have an unobstructed view of the beautiful landscaping. The large deck that surrounds the back of the home is an exceptional plus. A few suggestions; I know we visited the home in January, but no matter what time of year the occupants should have the availability of a heated pool. Is that possible? If necessary, please charge extra. We could not use pool because of water temperature. Ground lighting near front driveway next to rock slabs is needed. The area is too far away from porch lights for any value. At night no way to see where your walking. Garage lights not accessible. The same suggestion for the area (rock slabs) from back outdoor deck to whirlpool. Don’t get me wrong, anyone would totally enjoy this home. We are looking forward to renting next year!

Beautiful home! Kitchen was well stocked, lots of sitting areas, and so quiet. I watched the sunrise from upstairs deck and sunset from the opposite deck daily! Close to shop and beaches. We have used Parrish a few times before and they never disappoint. I accidentally left my laptop at the house and they mailed it back to me immediately.

Beautiful home-well appointed inside and out. Walking path to shops, proximity to beach and exceptional Parrish welcome!

Jaime is an exceptional asset to your company! She met us at the property and was extremely pleasant as she provided us a tour throughout the home. Website said the house was almost 4600 SQ feet, when it was almost 2000 SQ feet less. Wonderful outdoor space but should have been noted.

Exceptional

The home was beautiful but comfy. Everything was so nice and not too close to other homes but close to everything needed, Shopping beaches and all the excursions we booked. Have rented many homes on vacations we have taken and have to say this was the nicest. That is from all of us. The grandchildren did not want to leave! Loved the pool and the beaches . Kristy was Great and so was the maintenance person, Gardeners were also very nice explaining about coconuts to the grandchildren. The water leaked all over floor, called Kristy and no later than 15 minutes had a maintenance man come and everything was replaced and repaired within an hour.

Just. Amazing.

Our family will never forget the wonderful week we spent in this outstanding property. Island living at its best. This plantation style gem offered everything we could possibly want -- gourmet kitchen, lovely outdoor dining, broad covered back porch with lots of seating, gorgeous pool with spa, individually controlled A/C in each room (nice at night), privacy of bedrooms with ensuite baths and so much more. Even on rainy days and evenings, the indoor/outdoor living space allowed us to enjoy the beautifully landscaped property and view to the coast. We felt pampered, yet also very much at home. So great to just take a short walk to the shops. A perfect property. We can’t recommend this home highly enough!

WOW!

A beautiful home that suited our family (two sons, their wives and our grandson) perfectly. We felt pampered the entire time. Christie is fantastic. So friendly and welcoming. She met us at the home with our keys, the flowers and gift basket. The wide back porch was a dream. Even on rainy days and evening we could be outside enjoying the tropical paradise! Our family also took advantage of the jacuzzi often! The only disappointment was that we had no way to walk to the beach. We had thought we could. That would have been a real advantage.

Exceptional

Everything -- from pre-arrival attention to detail to accommodating special and non-standard departure requirements of our family with a 14 month old. Christie Volkner provided exceptional assistance to all our needs and requirements all during our stay on the Parrish property! An electrical outlet which was tripped during the power surge had to be reset by Parrish maintenance. The washing machine was inoperative during our stay because of a power surge which caused a part to burn out. However, all our laundry needs were accommodated each day by the Parrish staff. This was done in a timely manner. We would like to rent the same property (Kukuiula Makai Cottage #29)in 2018 at approximately the same time for tens days as this year.

Our friendly hostess, Christie Volkner, was very helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. She was at the property when we arrived and gave us a tour of the house. Thank you, Christie. After the stressful reservation about the property, everything was taken care of and our stay was amazing. Someone called to tell me house was sold and had to find another place to stay. Found another house but not comparable to the 1st house. Then find out on website house was available because sale fell through so my hostess, Christie, checked availability and got house back. Parrish should have informed me that house was available. Will check website when the time comes to make reservation for our next stay. I asked for a late check-out and Christie explained our stressful reservation with the house and you waived the late check-out fees. Thank you. We had a wonderful time and hope new owners will let Parrish rent out their property. It’s a beautiful home and spacious for our group of 8.

Overall a wonderful experience.

The home was the perfect size with perfect amenities. We had a great experience with The Parrish Collection reservation and pre-arrival process. The property was better than we expected. The photos on the internet were accurate and represented the property well. In our past experience with other rentals, we found the rental to be less impressive than the photos represented. We were pleasantly surprised.

This was our second stay with Parrish and the service was amazing.

We love the home, the lanai, the property and the proximity to the shops. I like the quality of the property as compared to VRBO or some other service. Parrish seems to offer the highest class rentals. We appreciate it very much. The website is great and very helpful. This is our second time staying at the property (Cottage 29). The difference in wear and tear and surrounding landscaping has changed fairly significantly since our visit in 2017. It would be nice to see some of the vegetation thinned out in order to improve the view. Things seemed a bit overgrown. It would be fantastic if the gardener and pool service were better coordinated so the pool is cleaned “after” the gardener does his work. Currently, the pool is cleaned before the gardener and the trimmings all end up in the pool.

Excellent

This was a special occasion and a large group which required a house. We loved the indoor outdoor living space, location and layout. Christie was very helpful in picking up our groceries and putting them in the house before our check in time. We had questions that she couldn’t answer but she was very helpful in getting the answers. There was only one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. There were multiple bee hives on the property and one was attached to the cushions on the outdoor futon. The cleaning crew missed it.

Loved that specific property!

The house was gorgeous….loved it! We especially liked the floating bed on the patio and all the wonderful seating outside. The cover on the soap filler for the washing machine fell off while using and we were unable to attach. I left a note for the property management and also told the housekeepers when we left.
