Beautiful & well located
Poipu Sands #412 - Beautiful location, just perfect for our needs. The condo is located on the ground floor which made access for my mom easy. Located between the beach access and the pool was very convenient. The view from our unit looks out onto a green lawn and palm trees that constantly swayed with the wind. The view from the master bedroom includes the ocean to the left. Inside, we loved all the little touches that made us feel we were on a lovely island vacation. The amenities they give you were very nice, from bathroom essentials (shampoo, wash, etc) to coffee/tea in the kitchen. The A/C was a great option in the rooms and the fans in the common areas were a nice addition. But, most days we could just open the sliding door with the closed screen and a few windows and the breeze was enough to keep us comfortable. The bonus of having a condo is you get things like a washer/dryer, ice chest, etc to make it easier to do all the adventures you desire. It was well maintained and clean. Detailed instructions from how to get in, how to use the TVs and how to leave made it easy for us to enjoy our stay. We were very thankful they messaged us a little earlier than our designated arrival time to let us know the unit was ready because it had been a long day, it was perfect timing and started the vacation off right. Parish was very good all around with communication from before we made the reservation until we left. The only hiccup we had was it said to turn the lock on the inside and leave the keys on the counter, but the inside lock seemed glued, so we simply got the key from the lockbox, left the other keys on the counter, then locked up and returned the lockbox key.

Our favorite place
We have been to Poipu Kai Resort 7 times and this was by far the nicest condo we’ve had. Poipu Sands is our fav with spacious open area, the nicest pool framed by palm trees, and view of Shipwreck Beach. We’re an older couple so ground floor is our choice along with walk-in showers. This was the first time in A/C unit and was helpful for sleep. Bed and living room furniture were very comfortable. We like proximity to Hyatt and enjoy drinks and dinner at their Seaview Terrace. Kitchen is very well stocked. There were 5 pool towels, but a family may need beach towels. There is limited ocean view from lanai, so other units might be your choice if ocean view is priority. We were aware of roof replacement planned for Bldg 6, but this didn’t start until 9/3 (which was after planned time frame) our last day. While this is going on, noise is a factor when spending time at condo as we did. Parrish staff were great on phone and our one service need (I later found TV instructions in Guest Book).
The place we stayed for 10 days was super clean and had everything we needed, and then some. I over packed thinking I would need to supply things for the bath and the kitchen that was already supplied for us.

VRBO Great location. Easy walk to shipwreck beach and drive to other sights. Clean, nicely furnished and updated.

Great condo within walking distance of Shipwreck beach and a few minutes drive from restaurants and stores. The condo is just as described and has a great outdoor space on the ground level. In 5 minutes, we were on Shipwreck beach, a great spots with strong waves to watch boogie boarders and surfers alike but not so great for swimming. Poipu beach is better for swimming and about a 5 minute drive. Neither are good for snorkeling. Condo was comfortable and had all the amenities. Only negative: we had issues with the wifi from day one and it still wasn’t fixed when we left 8 days later. The personnel tried hard to accommodate us by plugging us into the neighbour’s wifi. While this solution worked, I have a hard time understanding why they couldn’t fix this issue during the 8 days we were there.

Comfortable, Clean Stay
Location was perfect, 5 min walk to the beach, nice running path, and convenient to sites. Well stocked kitchen, tolietries, and beach chairs. Thank you!

I had a conference at the Hyatt and this stay was walking distance. Wonderful morning walk each day. Great location with fantastic food and so many things to do. Came stocked with beach towels, chairs and cooler which we very much appreciated. Kitchen has everything you would need to cook at home but so many amazing restaurants around. Great AC units in the bedrooms. Overall 10/10 we hope to be back one day

We loved the location so close to Shipwreck Beach. The AC in the bedrooms was nice. Might suggest adding AC to the living area too.

Loved the location. It was exactly what I wanted for our home base on Kauai.
We loved our stay at Poipu Sands. Our place was beautifully, decorated and fully equipped. The location was almost perfect. Would’ve liked a bigger ocean view that we were happy. The pool was great and the walkways and trails around the properties were great for morning walks, I loved being in Poipu.
We booked our place last minute and wasn’t sure what to expect. It was even better than the pictures and description. The views were beautiful. There is a beautiful walk to shipwreck beach and then back around the cliffs. We did that walk every morning. The property was absolutely beautiful and clean and very lush with beautiful flowers and plants. The condo was very well equipped with lots of dishes, glasses and pots and pans and everything you’ll need for cooking. It was decorated beautiful with lovely artwork and furniture. Washer and dryer in the unit was a plus and they provided beach chairs and towels.
We will definitely be back soon. We loved it there.

Excellent
#412 Poipu Sands is in a wonderful location with walking trails and beaches very close. It was quiet and the grounds were beautifully maintained. The pool was very clean and the BBQ cleaned on a daily basis. The unit itself was spacious and wonderfully and very tastefully decorated with artwork in every room. The unit was very clean. All the mattresses were very comfortable. The kitchen was amazingly outfitted with all the gadgets, utensils, glasses and enough dishes. We were very happy to have a good blender for our morning smoothies and afternoon cocktails. Many books on Kauai and reading were available. The beach chairs, boogie board and cooler were greatly appreciated. Maybe one tiny suggestion to have a beach umbrella available. Our 2 adult daughters and my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will really miss our breakfasts on our lanai overlooking the beautiful open green space.
We were super impressed! We also enjoyed all amenities provided.
Our stay in our condo was amazing. Everything we needed was available and in working order. The location was convenient and we loved our vacation!
