I was looking for a condo within walking distance to and from Grand Hyatt. The location was perfect. The interior was very spacious, clean. and well-maintained. The host was very proactive in communicating with me; the check in instructions were clear and I received texts to see if I had questions while I was staying there. They promptly responded to my questions so I did not have worries. The only thing was that the unit had only a portable AC in the main bedroom. Although there was a natural breeze, the unit got warm and a little humid the weather was humid outside even when I kept the shades down during the day. Otherwise, the stay was very pleasant and I would recommend this place to my friends.

The portable AC units usually do a great job keeping the bedrooms cool, but they are not capable of cooling the whole unit. This is why we provide standing fans and always recommend opening the windows to let the breezes keep things comfortable. Poipu Sands is a great location. The only changes I would make is to have the floor steam cleaned because bare feet were black within 20 minutes…not good. The other change would be to update the couch and chairs inside and out. They were not comfortable and the cushions are wore thin if you can feel the bamboo underneath. Sale for the kitchen table chairs. The location is great and beds were comfortable, but need new pillows.

We do clean the floors before every arrival and deep clean the tile periodically throughout the year. We are sorry if they didn't seem clean enough. Next time, please let us know and we will have housekeeping come back and touch it up for you. The sofa and chairs are made of rattan and are quite new. The location is amazing. You can see the ocean from directly from the living room, and it's 5 minutes walk to the beach in front of the Grand Hyatt. They even had real beautiful flowers on the dining table as decoration. With Grand Hyatt being next door, you can walk to a restaurant there to get food without a car. It also has a tennis court and a fairly large swimming pool onsite. I only had a tiny issue for checking in. I didn't receive any instruction when it was close to the check-in time, and they didn't communicate that the check-in might be delayed until I called. At the end, we were able to check in within 10 minutes passed our check-in time.

VRBO Great location, our unit had perfect view and many items for our outings ie. cooler, chairs, snorkel gear. Kitchen well stocked , it would have been nice to have plastic baggies , foil and few more spices (minor). Perfect location to sight see being central. Loved all the books helping us with our adventures! Only downfalls microwave door quite difficult to open, instructions for tv remote would be good for us not techy people (LOL) and a second air-conditioning unit would have been nice.

Condo was clean and spacious. Had everything we needed. Was just right for the four of us.
We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back here again! It is a ground floor unit with a nice patio area to eat and hang out. Can easily walk to Shipwreck Beach or a very quick drive to Poipu beach or Kiahuna beach. The unit had a lot of beach amenities provided like towel, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear which we really appreciated. We didn't cook much, but the kitchen was well equipped with working appliances. A great stay, and would recommend.
Wonderful stay, would highly recommend. Very nice location, close to Poipu Beach and beautiful paths to walk through on and near the property. There is plenty of beach gear for a full day at the beach. I think even more then the listing says. I would recommend checking all your keys upon check in. We did get the wrong pool keys, ultimately was resolved and they brought new ones. Overall a very good place!! Thank you!!
We really enjoyed the property. Great for 2 couples or family. Stocked well with beach chairs umbrellas etc. Very peaceful and so nice to have great walking paths/trails. We would definitely book again.

The unit itself was exactly as described, clean, and comfortable. It was well stocked with basic toiletries, dishes, Tide pods, boogie board, beach chairs, and a cooler. The fridge had a water filter and ice maker which was great for filling water bottles for a day of adventuring. The pool was close to the unit and heated so that you could enjoy a late evening swim well after the sun went down. We would definitely stay here again.

This condo was lovely and the location perfect. Super close to Popui beach and lots of great restaurants. Walking distance to the Grand Hyatt which has a great beach and restaurants as well. The condo itself had every thing we needed for the week including beach chairs and towels. The Lanai was my favorite part to enjoy a drink every evening. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the unit has a nice homey decor to it. The only downside is that there is no AC. The bedrooms have nice windows and the fans work very well but it can get warm and I love to sleep cold. I missed this detail in the listing but it is well mentioned. The host was kind enough to bring us an extra fan which was really all we needed to cool it down enough at night. That being said I loved this unit and would stay here or at any of the other Parish locations anytime. It was a wonderful stay in paradise!
Clean, nicely furnished condo with all the amenities one needs on the island. We loved the beds. They were the best out of all our travels! Close access to BBQ, beach, pool, walking paths, and The Grand Hyatt (conferences held there). Sunrise can be enjoyed right from the lanai. We were 5 minutes from Poipu Beach where we watched 31 turtles sleep the night and crawl back into the ocean in the early morning.

Location, price and atmosphere
We have been to Kauai twice and both times we have reserved through the Parrish Collection. Wonderful properties with all the amenities that we needed. We will be reserving with them again next time.
This place was a pleasure to stay at. Very clean, spacious, and homey. Lots of natural light and a fantastic view/walk to the beach. The rooms felt very nice and I cooked a wonderful dinner one night with everything that was available to use in the kitchen. I can’t think of any negatives about the stay to be honest. Everything was exactly as presented or described in the listing. Absolutely would recommend to a friend.
Great place with amazing views. Very clean and spacious for a family of 4. You’re within walking distance of 3 beaches for snorkeling and romantic walks. The pool is a great alternative for those lazy days you wanna skip beach crowds/waves. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Spacious 2-bedroom condo in a great location.
Smooth Running Kauai
Poipu Sands is a short walk from the south shore of Kauai. Watching sunrise became a morning ritual. Shipwreck and Poipu beaches are both within walking distance. The excellent accommodation worked very well for two couples. The pool and BBQ area are great features of the property. The green turtles were taking a break on Poipu beach during our stay. We’re looking forward to our next visit and staying at Poipu Sands.

Pros: Great location! Very clean. Wonderful communication with front office. Cons: There were several people (maintenance) in and out of our room; would have been nice to avoid that. Also beach gear = lawn chairs. Nothing else. Nice spot all things considered!
