Kauai trip

Great property. Only issue was construction in unit above. However, I assume owner unaware

Awesome Place & Location

Great location, great condo

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this condo for the week we were on Kauai. The south shore is a peaceful, beautiful location and the condo’s location is one of the best, with ocean views and proximity to restaurants and shops. Our only criticism is if you’re going to use the washer and dryer to bring a delicates bag for your swimsuits with straps etc. the dryer destroyed two of my garments because of a protruding lip on the lint filter. Also our car was broken into one night but that’s not the condo’s fault. However, we didn’t like how unresponsive and unhelpful they were in that process though. They just said “call the cops” and clearly wanted nothing to do with our issue. Show some concern? Offer assistance to the police? Nope. That said, we were impressed with the quality of the condo - the unit itself is well appointed, the grounds are beautifully maintained, and the pool is clean and well cared for Another note: the kitchen has zero pantry items besides small salt and pepper shakers. So if you like to cook you will have to buy everything. Sometimes vrbos have spices, etc. this has nothing. There are a few small local markets but I recommend getting your groceries at Safeway or Costco in Lihue after you land.

Our rental unit was very nicely decorated and was very clean. The owners have made a special effort to make this unit nice. Good airflow from bedroom to living room when bedroom and living room windows were open.

Beautiful condo in a great location

beautiful large condo that was perfect location. Everything was as advertised and exceeded all expectations. Tough to pick from online photos but this was the best decision of the trip! The condo was beautiful, we walked everywhere. Very peaceful and quiet complex. The pool was beautiful and clean. The grounds were also very well maintained. Wifi worked great. Had all we needed and more in the unit. Highly recommend!

Beautiful condo, perfect location, highly recommend

It can be stressful to try to pick a vacation rental from online photos. I must have looked at 50 properties. I would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking to vacation in Poipu. The list of things I loved is long. Booking it was very easy and I received my confirmation immediately. I loved all the helpful emails and the app that is available for the property. Getting to the property was very easy and the lady who checked us is was very nice. When we walked into the condo I actually said out loud- WOW. The living room is enormous. You are looking out at the lawn, pool and ocean beyond. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. So nice to have a “home” to stay in. Lots of room for 2 people. Could easily have added in a kid or two. Having two full bathroom was great. The wifi worked perfect- (we needed it because we worked in the am) The condo was very quiet. The property itself was also very quiet. We could walk to get anything we wanted- coffee, food, groceries. The condo was lovely with both the front and backdoors open- the breeze came thru and cooled everything down. The is a portable AC unit in the bedroom in case you sleep hot like I do and you want it cooler. We loved everything about this rental. Great value for the price. And we will book again with this property owner and most likely return to the same condo complex. Awesome vacation in a GREAT condo!

Disappointing visit this time

Our second visit to Poipu Kapili was not nearly as enjoyable as our first two yeas ago. This visit we stayed in unit 47. It was not up to the standards of a Premier property as claimed. After our discussions with Parrish, it was downgraded to a Deluxe unit. I think that is still a stretch! Worn carpets, old appliances, poorly equiped kitchen and dirty and stained showers were what we found. Previously we had stayed in unit 33. That was great. We like the resort because of the small size and nicely maintained grounds and is quiet. Parrish needs to inspect the units more frequently to require the owners to maintain high standards.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We do think that your going from a brand new unit to older complex and unit did amplify the difference. However, in the end we take full responsibility that we missed some things and I am glad we were able to accommodate your needs and get you settled. As we discussed, to meet your expectations, we suggest you stick to “Premier Plus” so you are always guaranteed a brand new unit interior. Mahalo.

Wonderful Poipu holiday.

Lovely property with pool and tennis at our doorstep, and the ocean across the street. Sandy beaches, shops, and restaurants all within a shorty walking distance. Our unit was spacious, very comfortable. Friendly staff were very responsive to any concerns or questions. Would definitely stay again.
