Beautiful View and more
We were delighted to stay in this lovely condo for 9 nights, the view is just phenomenal and we had every comfort of home that we required. The decor is just lovely and so comfortable, the bed was dreamy and we slept great. The Parrish staff were very easy to communicate with and the condo was well stocked with paper products and their own line of bathroom essentials (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash). The location is quiet and it's so easy to walk to the pool or to the beach front road for a sunset walk. The complimentary arrival coffee was so good that we just bought a bag and enjoyed it for our entire stay. There is a new table and chair set on the balcony that are bar height, so the views of the ocean and pool are dreamy. The outside closet has tons of beach equipment - chairs, umbrella, floats, snorkel gear, coolers, etc. and the condo is stocked with a beach/pool towel for each guest. Cooking in the kitchen with an ocean view was a delight! The two a/c units combined with fans are great for keeping the unit comfortable, thank you for that... We can't wait to return to this property and especially this condo.

Paradise and perfection
The view was perfect. The property was in fantastic shape with high quality finishes, appliances, construction, and touches throughout. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Lots of beach gear in the closet. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was great about the experience. Check in was easy. Location information was correct on finding the place. No issues while we were there. If I had questions people were quick to respond to text of answer the phone.
My wife and I just stayed in #32 at the Poipu Kapili and it was a terrific experience. There is a wonderful view out the living room veranda of the beautiful grounds, including the swimming pool and beyond that the waves breaking on the ocean (see picture). We used the veranda and the raised patio furniture every morning for breakfast as it got the day started reminding us of the beauty of living next to the ocean. The condo itself has been recently renovated and has air conditioning in both the living room and the bedroom. It also has two big screen TV\'s, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The furniture throughout is tropical and very comfortable. The mattress in the bedroom is new and very comfortable and there are great showerheads in both bathrooms. The kitchen has been upgraded and has a large refrigerator and the range looks brand new--and of course there are all of the appliances to live comfortably for long stays. Overall #32 is a place that I would recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in beautiful Poipu, Kauai.

I would highly recommend #32 at Poipu Kapili to anyone wanting a fabulous stay in the Poipu area. Great views, A/C in both the living room and bedroom, big screen TV's in both the living room and bedroom, great kitchen, great bathrooms and overall a wonderful experience!
Excellent accommodations, excellent location. Condos are spacious and clean , the views are spectacular and the staff are extremely helpful.
I would recommend to friends & family anytime the best time.

This condo was everything we needed and more. A lovely, large space, well stocked kitchen and very comfortable bed. Amazing sunsets, great location. Highly recommend 🙂
The place is really undersold by the photos and description! The view, though partial, is gorgeous and dead on from the unit. The home itself is nicely updated, and felt spacious and comfortable for my partner and our single friend. We had all the appliances and kitchen tools we needed, plus lots of beach stuff in the closet.
Before we booked this we read reviews that the beds are uncomfortable. While they’re certainly not the worst as another guest said, they certainly need replacing. The king bed has a ridge in the middle and two sunken divots on either side. It was visibly noticeable walking in the room, and VERY noticeable in bed. The pillows and bedding are comfortable, and we slept ok. The living room had two pullouts which are your standard thin, bar in the middle, couch pull out.
I also do recommend doing due diligence on restaurants. There are a few good options but better things are further away or close earlier, so plan and prepare!
The VIEW!
Poipu Kapili was a fantastic place for us to stay during our first trip to Kauai! The space was perfect traveling with a toddler, the location was close to multiple beaches as well as shops and restaurants, and the view was fantastic! We stayed in unit #32 and the outside closet was filled with everything you need for the beach - chairs, toys, umbrella. We will definitely be back!!
Beautiful place but probably the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. Horrible broken mattress that will destroy your back. We slept on the floor the last 2 nights since it was better than sleeping in the bed. We reported the problem but they just said “they were looking into the problem”, the problem is that the bed needs a new mattress. Would be 5 stars if we didn’t sleep on the floor.
Aloha Mike, we are sorry that the bed was not to your liking. We do find that things like mattress comfort can be very subjective. Although you found it uncomfortable, we have others that have said the opposite. I see that you asked for the mattress to be “fixed” which we assume means replaced. Given the units are individually owned, we cannot replace it based on one guests comments. However, we will pass your concerns on to the owner who is arriving soon.
Everything went smoothly
Everything went really well. It was our first time to Kauai and the property was just what we were looking for.

The perfect view and location
Beautiful condo with a great view of the ocean and lovely pool area. Easy walk to Kiahuna Beach, shops, and restaurants. Communication was great. Would happily stay again!
Great stay. Location is perfect. 2-3 minute car ride or 10 min walk to lots of restaurants and shops. Great family beach within walking distance. A couple of the reviews mentioned the AC, and, while yes, it can get a little warm in the living areas, we found the room portable unit and fans located throughout the home did the job. We would stay again, for sure.
Great condo and location!
This was a great condo in a great location! My only regret is the more great reviews on it will make it harder to book next time! I’ve already looked at other dates there and it is mostly occupied. It is only a few minutes walk to a great beach. The condo has towels and beach chairs to use which is a huge bonus. Even though there were only two of us, it was nice to have that second bathroom. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked with items needed for making breakfast. And I especially loved that it had an ice maker and was stocked with ice! Having a washer and dryer was also a nice bonus to do laundry before heading home. The only few downsides I could think of was that the AC portable unit in the bedroom was quite loud so we’d turn it on for a bit to cool the room down, then turn it off and slept with the windows open. It did have a nice cross breeze. The other thing we wished that the balcony chairs and table were a bit higher, maybe barstool height, so you could sit out there and enjoy the beautiful view. With the standard size chairs and table, when you sat down, you mostly got a view of the railing. A few minor things that could be improved but overall fabulous rental!

This was a wonderful and spacious home. I would definitely stay again. The only downside is that on the hottest days, the A/C has trouble keeping the living room and kitchen cool.

Beautiful wave views from condo. Nice condo development. Large condo two nice full baths. Quiet adult travelers peaceful setting.
Poipu Kapili is a well-maintained condo complex of 60 units. #32 is set back with a straight view to the ocean (the picture is accurate). The owner and Parrish have this unit nicely appointed in the kitchen (newer cookware, countertops, appliances), beach gear (chairs, cooler), and in-unit washer and dryer. For a 1 bedroom unit, it is very spacious. We have stayed at other condos in Poipu and would definitely return to Poipu Kapili. It is quiet, with a nice pool to relax in after a big day at the local beaches snorkeling or up at Koke’e State Park. Also, a 10 minute walk to the Shops at Kukui’ula along Ho’onani Road. The only (minor) downside is no sandy beach directly in front of the unit, if that is important to a renter. Beaches are accessible by walking or driving.

Nice location and house! But, the kitchen pantry was empty. Communication was fine, and everything else was ok!

For cleanliness and the health and safety of guests, we do not stock spices or open food items. We even delivered a new salt and pepper set to you when you asked. If there was something else you were expecting, we would love to have known at the time so we could have made your stay more enjoyable.
Other than a minor glitch during check in, the place was in a perfect location for us with great views. The property was well kept and response times from management were fantastic. Would highly recommend! Regarding check in, if you arrive after 5PM you will need to send copies of your Safe Travels Quarantine Exemption to the after hours emergency line, not to the number or email provided by the property in their communications.

We had a great stay at this unit . The views are fabulous and the place is well stocked with everything you need , including beach chairs with little ice coolers, storage zipped pocket and cup holders. We loved that we were able to walk to all the restaurants we had made reservations at and walking distance to great shopping . We were able to walk and run long the beach, since it had long sidewalks and space for you to run next to the ocean. The Sheraton is next door so we rented cabanas on the beach there. You get all the shade , rain and wind blocking needed and if you put the flag up they will take your food and beverage order. We went at 1:00 and after 1:00 it is $50 until 5:00. This fits two people. . We did read the complaint about the bedroom being hot in the evening but we turned on single air condition unit early in the day and shut the door. Then used ceiling fan at night. The best part about staying here is the sunsets . We were able to walk across the street from condo to the short stone wall and watch the sunsets every night with a drink of choice in hand . This is where even the locals show up at sunset . We would love to stay here again !

This place is great! The location is perfect. Beautiful view! This condo had everything we needed. Lovers the pool. I especially appreciated the kitchen amenities. Walking distance to the beach, many restaurants, and shops. Beware - the advertised 2 beds includes one pull-out couch. A pull-out couch is not equivalent to a bed. Also the AC in the bedroom is a little better than worthless. It is as loud as a jet engine.
We LOVED this condo so much! The view, the light and sounds of the waves while in the living room, the cleanliness, the balcony, the two bathrooms, the cross breeze from both sides, the full kitchen, the laundry, the AC in the bedroom (on those extra humid days), the location, all the beaches nearby, the accessibility to a great sunset view. Everything. We\'re looking forward to our return when we make our way back to Koloa.
Perfect place to stay for family-oriented parties as well as romantic people (of course)! Super close to the beach and a lot of restaurants close by!
