Tip: Before your Kauai vacation, we invite you to watch our Kauai video that showcases historic Koloa town.
Choose from over 25 events at Koloa Plantation Days.
The festival has something for everyone – guided Kauai hikes including one to Mahaulepu Beach, classic rodeo competition, ethnic cooking demonstrations and tasting, historical presentations, family movies, sporting events and more.
The second annual Sunset Hoolaulea starts this year’s event with music, family events and food at Poipu Beach Athletic Club. A new event this year is The Flavors of Kukuiula on Friday, July 26, from 5:30-8:30pm
Annual Parade and Park Celebration. Saturday, July 27 at 10:00am.
Another signature event is the home grown parade with horseback and walking units, decorated vehicles and floral floats competing to be awarded the best in each category. If you’re traveling from our North Shore rentals like Princeville Resort, be sure to leave early to find parking. Once you arrive at the Tree Tunnel it’s just a short drive to Koloa.
After the parade, head to the ballpark for a full line-up of local stars and recording artists that include Hapa, the island’s largest craft fair, a silent auction and plenty of fun for the kids.
Kauai Family Fun Run – Sponsored by Parrish Kauai. Sunday, July 28 at 6:00am to 8:30am depending on race.
Starts at Poipu Beach Park and has events for all ages. Complete the race registration form in advance and save.
What Kauai events are you most looking forward to at Koloa Plantation Days? We hope you can join us for this annual tradition celebrating Koloa’s multi-cultural history.
