Protocol and Dress Code: Sarongs are available if you wear shorts, short dresses, t-shirts or tank tops. Polo shirts are okay. Only those wishing to worship or meditate should enter Kadavul Temple. Sit cross legged inside and leave footwear at entrance. Legs should never be stretched towards the Deity. Photos are allowed except inside the Kadavul Temple.

Plan to be here at 9:00am if you wish to worship at the 90 minute temple ceremony. Otherwise, arrive at 10:45am. Grounds are closed to the public starting at noon. Donations accepted.

Lord Shiva willing, I would be visiting the Temple and the Monastery in a couple of months.
I was present during the installation of the First Ganesha Murti before the Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago was built. The Murti was donated by the Kauai Shiva Temple to the best of my knowledge.
