Independence Day 2020 will be different this year. Community celebrations have been canceled due to COVID-19. Instead, this will be a more backyard Fourth of July celebrated with family and friends.
When you stay in our Kauai vacation rentals next July 4th, here are the tropical celebrations you will see with fireworks. When 2021 dates are set, we will post them here. The moon will be full so expect brilliant colors in the evening sky against a backdrop of palm trees. You will find everything here including Hawaii fireworks and local Hawaiian entertainment.

Aloha! Is the Annual Concert in The Sky confirmed or cancelled for tomorrow? Thank you, Val
JP says
Aloha Val, unfortunately, the Kauai Hospice announced the cancellation of the event after careful consideration and discussions with their community partners. We hop it will continue next year.
Brooke says
Aloha! When you say “3D fireworks”, are they actual fireworks or a light show?
JP says
Aloha Brooke, These shows are true fireworks shows. Have fun and enjoy!

Any fireworks in the poppy area for the 4th?
JP says
Hi Dawn – You’ll have to pick from the three events we highlighted to see fireworks on July 4th. Unfortunately, Poipu only hosts fireworks on New Year’s Eve. Happy 4th to you and your family! Aloha from the Parrish Kauai team.

JP says
Aloha Mimi – Thanks for letting us know. I think you are referring to the Kekaha celebration today. The sponsoring organization has removed their phone number but they do have a Facebook page and email address. I’ll give both to you. Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eolamaunaleookekaha/ and email: [email protected]. Happy 4th of July from the Parrish Kauai team!

Any fireworks on North Shores of Kauai? St Regis?
JP says
Aloha Kathy, We hope you had a good July 4th! Unfortunately, there are no firework shows on the North Shore. Everything is centered around Lihue and the West Side. Best wishes from the Parrish Kauai team.
Janis says
We live on the mainland. The driving directions are too vague. Is there an address? Close to the airport? There is a lot of land close to the airport. Thanks in advance for directions. Janis
JP says
Mahalo for your note Janis. We reviewed and agree so we made some edits that hopefully make it clearer. Mahalo!
